Our client provides a wide range of cost-effective and sustainable energy solutions for public, industrial, commercial, agricultural customers working across both Ireland and Northern Ireland.
Due to continued growth, our client is seeking to hire a Quantity Surveyor reporting to the Senior Contracts Manager.
Objectives of the Job:
This is a hands-on role including the on-site commercial aspect of systems nationwide. Travel within Ireland is a requirement of the role.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
Take over the commercial terms and conditions (T&C) from the sales team.
Set up and upload the commercial performance targets in the Company system.
Manage the sales invoice to the client on time as per agreed T&C with Accounts Receivable.
Manage and verify the contractor’s project-related invoices to the Company with the accounts.
Assist the procurement team to source cost-effective resources (material, equipment & contractor).
Work proactively with the project teams to ensure the commercial performance targets are being met.
Give feedback to the project team on the commercial aspects related to the billing and cost.
Share lessons learnt from the projects to the project team and sales for future pricing.
Collating and updating project profitability reports from multiple projects on regular basis.
Attendance at site for client’s meetings, site walkdowns or work inspections.
Manage the client relationship.
Develop the Company commercial procedures and documents.
Share knowledge and impart skills to other team members.
Assist in any other duties which may encompass the role.
Experience and Qualifications
Third Level Degree or equivalent in education and experience.
Minimum 5 years’ experience.
Work with multiple projects/sites experience.
Contracting service experience.
ME contractor experience would be an advantage.
Understanding of NEC contracts would be an advantage.
Knowledge of renewable energy sector would be an advantage.
