Position: Manager, Outage Management
Location: Cernavoda, Romania
Status: Contractor
Education: Post-Secondary/University Degree in Engineering, Business Administration in Finance, PMP or equivalent
Are you a results-driven professional ready to lead in a high-impact environment? Join the on-site team supporting the refurbishment of Cernavoda Unit 1 as a key part of the Project Management Organization.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and oversee outage management with local and international teams.
- Drive safe and efficient refurbishment execution while ensuring compliance with project governance.
- Establish outage priorities, develop communication protocols, and resolve challenges proactively.
- Ensure smooth integration across project systems and teams while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Provide guidance to managers and ensure project close-out activities are completed effectively.
What We’re Looking For:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Superintendent and Manager roles.
- 5+ years as an Outage Manager, with refurbishment experience as a bonus.
- Expertise in Engineering, Project Management, and Cost Control principles.
- Proven experience in CANDU Refurbishments and deep knowledge of related codes and standards.
- Outstanding communication, facilitation, and decision-making skills.
