This role will be based on a data center site on behalf of our client.

Overview of the Role:

The Utilities Engineer oversees all operations and maintenance activities in the assigned area, ensuring all resources are available to deliver quality services.

Duties of the Role include:

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with the Site Manager, clients, shift teams, and engineering staff
• Serve as the main contact for maintenance-related concerns
• Lead and coordinate a diverse team of skilled technicians
• Ensure timely completion of preventive maintenance programs
• Support team members in developing expertise with equipment
• Follow safety guidelines and approved procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation and records
• Oversee supplier performance and relationships
• Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment
• Manage equipment, parts, and tools inventory
• Prepare regular activity reports
• Plan maintenance schedules around business needs
• Evaluate equipment condition and plan for future needs

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering
• Marine Engineering qualifications accepted

Required skills for this role:

• 3+ years in regulated industrial settings
• Knowledge of power generation or data center operations
• Understanding of industrial equipment maintenance
• Project management experience
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
