Even though only operating a little over two years, our client has already installed over 500 domestic and small commercial solar PV systems. With multiple teams established in Dublin and Munster, our client aims to expand capabilities so that clients can be supported nationwide.

This is a rare opportunity to combine a passion for renewable energy with a growth opportunity to work with key influencers driving solar adoption in Ireland. We’re looking for an experienced leader, a bright spark to lead a world-class installation team of solar PV installers, to enable 1,000 solar system completions annually by 2024.

 

Your Profile

If the following description fits you, then we would love to hear from you:

  •  7-10 years working experience with a combination of business and technical experience, e.g. technical sales, procurement, logistics, etc.

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Solar PV.

  • Understands the importance of a superior Customer Experience – the customers are at the core of everything our client does.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills – You need to be able to attract and lead an army of young talent

  • Ambitious – We’re looking for a professional who is hungry for an opportunity to make a real difference.

  • Appetite for Leadership - Someone who can lead by example and develop people, systems and processes that will allow scaling up rapidly.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Guide and grow the installation teams and support them throughout the delivery lifecycle.

  • Support the sales team with solar system design, onsite inspections, technical support and education in new solar technologies.

  • Establish post installation standards, processes and systems, to streamline client handover procedures and post installation support, ensuring the best possible customer experience.

  • Work hand in hand with the recruitment team to attract, grow and manage installation lead engineers and roofers/carpenters.

  • Work with Sales & Operations to streamline client communications.

  • Motivate installation teams to deliver the best possible customer experience, coupled with the best promotional experience for our client.

 

Requirements

  • Passion for renewable technologies

  • Electrical National Craft Certificate (Preferred)

  • At least 3 years’ experience installing solar PV systems

  • Health & Safety focused

  • Innate leadership ability and appetite to continually develop

  • Excellent time keeping and organisational skills

  • Safe Pass

  • Full clean driver’s license with a willingness to travel
