Job description
Anderson McQue has been appointed by a growing hydrogen fuel cell systems business to recruit a QHSE Manager for their team in San Diego, California.
What you will do:
Carry out periodic HSE risk assessments of the site.
Write site instructions based on Symbio guidelines and control their application.
Implement and maintain the HSE management system, lead the Management Review under the responsibility of the plant manager.
Organize the various HSE audits and expert reports on the site, and manage the resulting action plans.
For all site projects, ensure that the HSE component is validated .
Manage and/or carry out awareness and training activities for personnel in the HSE fields.
Manage the management of personal protective equipment.
Manage the site's HSE dashboard, guarantee the quality of the data, and report information and significant events to the appropriate levels.
Manage all regulatory aspects of the site in the HSE field.
Lead relations with external administrations.
Has the authority to validate hazard studies (major scenario, risk management measures, Important Safety Elements) and transmit them to the administration.
Role Requirements:
Engineering degree or 5 years of higher education with 10 years of experience in the automotive industry
Demonstrated operational safety culture in a responsible position
Ability to work independently and in a team
Ability to make decisions, analyse and anticipate
Confidentiality
Ability to write and prepare communication materials
Mastery of the ISO14001 standard
Personal qualities: Reliability, Listening, Pioneering, Adaptability, Humility
Excellent attention to details
Excellent organizational skills
The salary range they have for this role is $100-160k, with Life Insurance, Medical/Dental/Vision insurance, 401K and PTO policy.
