​Anderson McQue has been appointed by a highly successful energy business to source a Project Portfolio Manager to join their team in L’Derry. This is a new leadership position in the business which is growing considerably through several new renewable energy projects.

In this role, you will be responsible for our clients' operational, budgeting and reporting requirements managing projects across the UK and Ireland. You will work across one or more assets and will provide dedicated support to the Asset Owners.

As Project Portfolio Manager you will be responsible for managing all operational and stakeholder reporting requirements; building and managing a successful team; managing the technical relationship with partners ensuring contractual obligations are met and revenues maximized; and managing and developing Director reports. You will ensure that the business meets all its obligations under its managed service agreement and any additional workstreams agreed with the Asset Owners; visit the project sites regularly and meeting with key stakeholders; and attending and presenting at Asset Board meetings to clients as required.

You will be assisting in overseeing the day-to-day operations of several assets to include managing operation and maintenance contracts, drafting and reviewing policies and procedures, reviewing budgets, and meeting monthly board reporting obligations.

You will hold a degree in in a scientific or engineering discipline or equivalent experience gained in a relevant industry. There is flexibility on where this experience has been gained, but require at least 10 years’ experience in relevant roles within Energy, Engineering, Manufacturing or Process Industries.
