Anderson McQue has been appointed by a leading international consulting business to source a Project Finance Consultant to join their team in Dubai. This business is currently building out their Management Consulting team in the Middle East, focusing on transactions and PPP advisory mandates in the Energy and Water sector, and are looking for a dynamic Consultant to be part of this interdisciplinary team.
The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a track record in transactions who is interested in playing a crucial role in advising clients in energy and water sectors. In this role, you will manage mandates and lead teams in the execution of large-scale due diligence / PPP projects / transactions in energy and water sectors, consisting of technical, commercial as well as environmental experts; and, execute and supervise complex quantitative and qualitative analyses and leading various teams of other consultants, analysts and subject matter experts.
You will be responsible for building / extending long-term, trust-based relationships with the Clients and within the company; contributing to the development of the company’s offerings and tools, in particular helping to further develop the management consulting service offering; and supporting the growth of the PPP and management consulting team and supervision of analyst/consultants.
To be suitable for this role, you should have a MSc or equivalent, MBA, PhD in a technical, financial or economic field. Further qualifications like CFA advantageous. You should have 3-7 years of working experience in M&A, management consultancy investment funds, investment advisory, with an established reputation and network in energy and water sectors, preferably in the Middle East. It is important you have a demonstrable track-record in managing complex due diligence projects and strong willingness to drive the growth of our team in a role relating to energy or water transactions (hydrogen, renewable energies, thermal power, desalination).
