Job description

PMO Title: Expert Project Controls and Change Management Location: Cernavoda, Romania Status: Full Time, Permanent/Term or Contract position JOB OVERVIEW CNPSA is seeking a results-driven professional to join our team in the role of Expert Project Controls and Change Management to support the Project Management Office by providing expertise in cost control and analysis. Reporting to the Manager of Planning and Cost Control this role will utilize their experience for developing and implementing processes and procedures to monitor and analyze the expenditures of the Refurbishment project. This analysis will be used to monitor progress against the cash flow plan to identify issues that could cause the project budget to be compromised.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES This position reports to the Manager of Planning and Cost Control and is an individual who will:

• Ensure project reporting and metrics requirements are established and accurately produced in accordance with the required reporting cycles and communicated to appropriate stakeholders

• Maintains the overall project baseline schedule and budget including float and contingency

• Maintains cost management system for the project including establishing baselines, change control, collection of forecasts and earned value to support reporting

• Implements the procedures to confirm collection of accurate data and reconciliation to financial ledgers

• Identifies and corrects any errors as quickly as possible and escalates any on-going issues for resolution

• Generates required cost or schedule reports to support Project Managers

• Maintains record of all governance and integration of governance with tools

• Performs periodic assessments and identifies areas for improvement

• Supervision of professional and technical staff as assigned

EDUCATION

• Post-Secondary/University Degree in Business Administration or Financial Accounting is required

• Previous experience in the refurbishment and/or operation of a CANDU Station is considered a must

QUALIFICATIONS We are seeking a results-driven professional who has the following:

• Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in planning, monitoring and reporting of large projects or an operational station

• A proven track record in previous large Projects in the Nuclear field; preferably experience with investment projects worth at least 100 million, EUR

• Demonstrated experience in CANDU Refurbishments

• Ability to communicate effectively, possess excellent oral and writing skills, and strong facilitation, negotiation, influencing, and presentation skills. Ability to present information clearly and effectively

• Ability to adequately disposition comments for other technical staff

• Sound judgment and a keen sense of responsibility

• Ability to work collaboratively with others in a team environment

• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work to meet objectives and targets
