Working Hours:  Monday to Friday, days only

This role will be based on a data center site on behalf of our client.

Overview of the Role:

• The Mechanical Maintenance Technician is responsible for all operations and maintenance activities in their assigned area, ensuring all resources are available to deliver quality services.
• The Maintenance Specialist ensures all equipment runs smoothly by performing scheduled upkeep and repairs according to facility requirements.

Working Relationships:

• Internal: Works with facility team, supervisors, and safety personnel
• External: Equipment suppliers and service partners

Duties of the Role include:

• Follow maintenance schedules and site procedures
• Find and fix equipment problems
• Complete and update required paperwork
• Work safely following health and safety guidelines
• Coordinate with team members and service providers
• Participate in training programs
• Review and update safety procedures
• Help set up maintenance plans for new equipment
• Keep work areas clean and organized
• Look for ways to improve operations

Qualifications:

• Trade certification or equivalent in mechanical/building services

OR

• Engineering degree/diploma with 2-3 years of experience, preferably in facility operations
• Related marine experience (2-4 years) is also acceptable
