Anderson McQue has been appointed to recruit a Green Hydrogen Global Sales Manager for a leading provider of cutting-edge engineering solutions in Vienna, Austria.
Your Responsibilities:
Join us in our mission to combat global greenhouse gas emissions through the development and promotion of innovative green hydrogen solutions. As the Green Hydrogen Global Sales Manager, your role will encompass:
Business Development and Sales Growth:
- Identify, research, and cultivate relationships with potential customers interested in adopting green hydrogen solutions.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market presence and achieve sales targets.
- Collaborate closely with internal technical teams to tailor solutions that meet customer needs and align with company capabilities.
- Drive negotiations from initial contact through to contract signing, ensuring smooth handover to project management teams.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships based on trust and understanding.
- Regularly engage with existing customers to assess satisfaction levels, address concerns promptly, and identify opportunities for additional sales.
- Utilize CRM tools to track customer interactions, update sales forecasts, and maintain accurate records of all sales activities.
Market and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders including government agencies, regulatory bodies, and industry associations.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to identify opportunities and risks, adapting strategies accordingly.
- Advocate for policy initiatives that support the growth of the green hydrogen sector, influencing decision-makers as needed.
Reporting and Strategy Development:
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback for senior management.
- Contribute to the development of strategic plans and initiatives aimed at expanding the company's footprint in the green hydrogen market.
- Provide valuable insights and recommendations to guide business decisions and optimize sales effectiveness.
Your Qualifications:
- Ideally possess a degree-level qualification in a relevant field.
- Demonstrated experience in business development and sales within the technology, renewable energy, or related sectors.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required and collaborate effectively with diverse teams and cultures.
