EPC Hydrogen Project Manager, Hull

​Anderson McQue is partnering with a global EPC business to source a Project Manager to lead on a large scale hydrogen storage EPC project in Hull. This is an important role, functioning as a technical specialist and will manage all aspects of this significant EPC project, including risk to cost, schedule, quality.

In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day successful execution of contracted engineering, procurement, and construction scope in the areas of performance, financial metrics, planning, schedule, quality, contractual compliance, safety, and client satisfaction. Starting from the FEL 1, 2, 3 Stages, you will work with discipline Engineers and Construction Managers to identify and resolve problems or issues related with design, schedule, materials, change management safety and quality.

You may work across multiple projects at any one time, depending on their scale and complexity. You will manage and lead medium to large teams of multi-discipline professionals; provide for the successful staffing of each project; manage FEL 1, 2 and 3 Projects while helping clients to plan for the EPC Phase; and coordinate and integrate the activities associated with the engineering, procurement, construction, and startup elements of the project team, including the activities of all third party companies contributing to the initiative.

You will hold a Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field and should have 9+ years relevant process industry experience in a project management capacity. Prior experience with Hydrogen or process industry work is highly desirable.
