Anderson McQue has been appointed by a global engineering business to source an Environmental Project Manager to join their environmental consulting practice in the UK. This is a key position within the growing Environmental business line that can be based anywhere in the UK.
This is a multidisciplinary Environmental team of scientists, specialists, and engineers working together to deliver optimum solutions to clients across a diverse and growing mix of infrastructure sectors including power utilities; water; industrial and manufacturing; gas, fuels, and chemicals; data centres; commercial; telecommunications; transportation, and governments. As a full-service environmental consulting practice, these solutions include impact assessment and planning, regulatory compliance, air quality permitting, environmental remediation assessment, natural resources studies, water quality impact assessment, environmental site due diligence, acoustics and environmental noise assessment, climate solutions, and pollution prevention planning.
In this role, you will direct teams providing critical support to domestic and international clients across projects in planning, development, siting, design, construction, or operational phase. You will deliver solutions to meet each client’s needs by developing and implementing strategic project execution approaches; managing quality delivery of complex multidisciplinary environmental consulting projects; driving client relationships, project prospects, and business growth; identifying and characterizing key differentiators regarding solutions offered; leading proposals and cost estimates; and mentoring environmental team members and influencing career development.
You will hold a Bachelor's degree in environmental studies, environmental engineering, or sciences preferred; other degrees, specialized training, or experience that uniquely qualifies the individual to perform the job responsibilities may also be considered. You will have proven success providing strategic environmental consulting and project management to clients with 10+ years experience of solutions-oriented environmental consulting related to infrastructure or industrial projects. You will be able to demonstrate experience managing the development of major environmental impact assessment and review documents in compliance with NEPA or comparable state or international requirements.
You will receive an attractive salary and package reflective of your experience working for a leading organisation.
