Working Hours:  Monday to Friday, days only

This role will be based on a data center site on behalf of our client.

Overview of the Role:

The Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the site's electrical network.

Working Relationships:

• Internal: Facility teams, supervisors, engineering services
• External: Equipment suppliers and business partners

Duties of the Role include:

• Work with the Maintenance team at a client's Data Center
• Coordinate with the maintenance team and client representatives
• Conduct technical reviews and implement improvements
• Set up documentation for new equipment
• Review and improve maintenance schedules
• Help prevent and minimize facility downtime
• Solve equipment problems, including fire alarm systems
• Update operating procedures
• Work with outside contractors and suppliers
• Manage spare parts inventory
• Implement energy-saving projects
• Assist with quality audits
• Maintain clean and safe work areas

Qualifications:

• Electrical Engineering Diploma/Degree (or equivalent) with 3+ years of experience

OR

• Electrical Trade certification with 5+ years of work experience, preferably in power systems
