We're Hiring: Mechanical Design Engineer 

Are you an experienced engineering professional ready to take on a challenging and impactful role in the energy sector? We're looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Cernavod?, Romania.

What You'll Do:

- Lead local and international team members as part of a Project Management Organization for a major refurbishment project at the Cernavod? Nuclear Generating Station.

- Support the Engineering Department in evaluating and approving detailed solutions, technical specifications, and implementation plans.

- Oversee and verify complex implementation and testing plans for critical refurbishment activities.

- Ensure all design and refurbishment activities adhere to project schedules, budgets, and quality assurance standards.

- Provide expert guidance and assurance that all design and manufacturing activities meet established policies, standards, and procedures.

What We're Looking For:

- A Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Engineering.

- 10+ years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in CANDU Nuclear Power Plants.

- In-depth knowledge of CANDU technology and operations.

- Proven leadership skills and a strong track record in managing and delivering high-quality projects.

- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team.

Additional Qualifications:

- Experience in project management is an asset.

- Proficiency in the Romanian language is beneficial but not required.
