Anderson McQue is partnering with a global EPC business to source a Commercial / Contracts Manager to join their team in Cheshire. This is an important role, taking the lead with clients in terms of all commercial aspects as well as developing commercial strategies for tenders and project controls in its future business.
In this role, you will lead project contract teams on projects of varying size and complexity through all aspects; address contractual requirements related to Costs / Planning / Scheduling; lead planning and schedule preparation on more complex projects including startup planning; and address contractual requirements related to schedule control; and provide scheduling forensics expertise as required.
You will manage the Contract functions and supervise subcontract or OEM administration when assigned; provide business services for major projects and capture of major projects; interface with project teams and Directors to ensure project contract supports execution; coordinate resource requirements with services managers and department head; and will provide leadership in identifying and addressing major department issues.
You will hold a Bachelor's degree as a minimum with at least seven to ten years of relevant Commercial management with Planning & Scheduling experience. A law degree would be advantageous.
