Summary of Position: As an Alternative Fuels Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing equipment at CNG, RNG, Hydrogen Fueling, and EV Charging stations. This includes control panels, compressors, valves, and other critical components, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Drive a company vehicle to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs at various fueling stations.

• Diagnose and repair equipment such as compressors, pumps, engines, and dispensers according to manufacturer recommendations and company standards.

• Conduct regular inspections, documenting all activities, parts used, and other relevant details.

• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and safety standards.

• Perform general station maintenance including cleaning and landscaping.

• Communicate professionally with dispatch, peers, and management.

• Adhere to company guidelines in interactions with customers, vendors, and the public.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum age of 18 years

• High School diploma or GED required

• Valid Driver’s License and compliance with state requirements

• Strong preference for experience in electrical, hydraulic, mechanical systems, and alternative fuels

• Proficiency in service software and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

• Excellent communication, multitasking, and time management skills

• Ability to perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting

Physical Demands:

• Availability for on-call service 24/7

• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds

• Capability to perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and climbing

• Willingness to work in various weather conditions

• Required to provide own tools for routine maintenance and repairs
