Anderson McQue is recruiting for our client who is a world leader in providing customized solutions in the Energy, Water- and Waste-Water Treatment and Waste sectors.

Location: West Dublin
Duration: Permanent (based on a client site) / shift role


Overview of the role:
This role is at a greenfield Bio-pharma facility in West Dublin, which is currently under construction.
The Technician will work as part of the Operations & Maintenance team in supporting commissioning activities and preparing for sustaining operations at a greenfield Pharmaceutical site.

Day to day of the Role:

  • Walkdowns & snagging of utilities systems (Water treatment; Boilers; Chillers.

  • Cooling Towers, HVAC & Clean Utilities) prior to mechanical completion tagging.

  • Define maintenance plans and SOPs for site utilities systems.

  • Review spare parts requirements.

  • Complete on-site and vendor training.

  • Operation of site utilities in support of commissioning.

  • Assist in definition of site safety systems.

  • Operation, Maintenance and troubleshooting of site black & clean utilities systems.

  • Completion of all related documentation in compliance with site and regulatory rules and guidelines.

  • Delivery of delegated engineering tasks in compliance with good engineering practice and all regulatory, statutory and corporate requirements.

  • Keep training current in line with client’s requirements, i.e. SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures), EWI’s (Engineering Work Instructions), etc.

  • All work on site to be carried out in accordance with site EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) and company EHS rules and guidelines.

Skills & Attributes for the Role:

  • 2 - 3 years’ experience in a similar role

  • Engineering degree/diploma or equivalent

  • Senior Trades, City & Guilds or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical/Instrumentation/Building Services engineering mechanical/environmental

  • Marine experience at sea would be highly desirable
